Introduce your business and what you do there.
I'm the head of talent acquisition at a software and AI company.
What challenges were you trying to address with HumanSoft?
We hired them to help us find profiles and candidates for our development, sales, and quality personnel teams.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They provided us with specialized HR services. We gave them a database of candidates found by our team, so they could find additional profiles. We also told HumanSoft what roles we needed and they presented us with profiles until we could find someone who matched our needs.
What is the team composition?
For the search, I worked with two team members from HumanSoft.
How did you come to work with HumanSoft?
We researched headhunting companies and we chose them among three other companies. At the time we needed a high volume of people, then one of our employees who knew them personally recommended them. Our employee told HumanSoft about our needs and they came up with a proposal.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project ran from August 2019—January 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
For the first time in our company history, we needed a lot of new personnel and we knew it would be hard to fill in those positions. HumanSoft was our ally for recruitment efforts; they helped us connect to the US market and reach our goals.
How did HumanSoft perform from a project management standpoint?
We had fluid communication which mostly went through Skype.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They were great with follow-ups and they had strong communication skills.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There was a point when frustrations grew because we were strict about our needs and we couldn’t find the right candidates to hire. They could’ve handled the frustration better.

I'm the Chief Analytics Officer for a boutique software development consultancy.
For what projects/services did your company hire HumanSoft?
We were looking for a mid-level software developer to help build out our products with experience in React/Node/Typescript among other technologies in Costa Rica/Mexico.
How did you select this firm and what were the deciding factors?
We searched around for a number of firms via Google and saw that they seemed dedicated and driven in what they do. After jumping on a call with the team, it was apparent that they had extensive expertise in the domain and would be a great partner as we try to grow our small team.
Describe the project in detail and walk through their service package.
We chatted with them about what we were looking for in a candidate over a conversation in which they guided us about what we should be looking for, cultural norms that we weren't aware of, and trends in the areas we were looking at. We then wrote up a job spec for what we were looking for based on that conversation and shared that with them.
From there, they started sending us high-quality resumes for a number of candidates who were matches for the position. Once we identified candidates we wanted to chat with, they coordinated interviews, maintained communication with them, and answered any questions we had along the way. They were in constant communication with us through the entire process all the way until the candidate started, and have continued to check in since to make sure they're working out well.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We spoke with two different team members throughout the process, the Chief Organizational Officer and Chief Legal Officer.
Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?
When we started out, we had the intention of hiring one developer, but ended up hiring two! They sent us so many great resumes, it just made sense for our business.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
They were very attentive and easy to get a hold of. Emails were replied to quickly and phone calls were easy to schedule if we needed to discuss something further.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
I was impressed with their ability to really understand the type of candidate we were looking for. They were able to extrapolate the fundamental traits we were looking for (curious, hard working, integrity) from talking to us and getting to know our business.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I think they did a great job - nothing comes to mind!

We are a software development company, specialized in Microsoft technologies. We are developing a Municipal CORE and my position is Project Director.
For what projects/services did your company hire HumanSoft?
They supported us with the recruitment of certified Software developers in Microsoft Dynamics CRM. There aren't many in the country with this certification.
What were your goals for this engagement?
To hire Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 certified developers with experience. We needed them to have experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM 365 and to have actively participated in a migration project from a version of Dynamics to version 365.
How did you select HumanSoft?
Because we have already worked with them on other projects. They have always met all of our requirements, budget needs, and have shown great agility in adapting to our needs.

To work on recruiting a shortlist of candidates that best met our technical and budget requirements. For us, it was very important that they share our values which, HumanSoft knows very well. They had to negotiate salaries and commitments. In the end, they had to provide us 3 CVs so that we can do an interview and select the one that best fulfills our needs.

I worked directly with a project manager. Although, I know they have more people involved in the process.
Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?
We can meet our clients needs thanks to the effort and commitment of our staff, which is mostly recruited by HumanSoft
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
It was perfect they met all our expectations.
What did you find most impressive about this vendor?
Their commitment. They always make the best effort to meet our goals, and they do it! Sometimes what we are looking for is in abundance in the market but some other times it is not so, due to technical requirements or due to budget. For them that doesn't matter, they always meet our needs.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Probably yes, but I could not mention any.

We are services software developer for SMEs in Latin America. I'm in charge of operations and administration.
For what projects/services did your company hire HumanSoft?
We hired HumanSoft for recruit of professional in IT areas, beacuse we don't have any internal recruiter. Also HumanSoft executed our training plan for the new hires and helped us with the human resources scorecard.
What were your goals for this engagement?
We don't have the expertise to get the specialized roles in our industry, and we know that the process of onboarding plan it's critical to engage recruited with the brand. That's was the reason we call the best company for this service.

We have been working with HumanSoft over the years, the always help us right in the moment we need giving us the right service in the right moment.

They interviewed, selected and delivered many qualified candidates based on an extraordinary method called DISC wich one they are certificated. They take very seriously their job.
What was the team composition?
There was two people working directly witht us, one operative and the other for the strategy.
Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?
They processed the database of candidates so we didn't have many junk cv. On the other hand, they were very open to use our working platforms and get feedback from the company leaders as well as taking new brand requirements.

HumanSoft was very communicative with the team, using different channels to get in touch as frequently as we need.
What did you find most impressive about this vendor?
HumanSoft team was great. They worked with us to get our objectives.
Are there any areas for improvement?
I don't have any suggestions now.
HumanSoft did a good job and was able to help the client connect to the international markets. There were minor setbacks and frustrations, the team was still able to help the client reach their goals.
